Hip-Hop を基軸に、Funk、Soul、Rock、City Pop など多様な音楽から影響を受けた、ジャンルレスなスタイルを特徴としており、近年はバンドセットやアコースティック編成でのライブも精力的に展開。
2025年4月リリースのシングル「Flower」は、Spotify 日本バイラルチャート5位、Shazam DISCOVERY チャート1位を記録した他、Apple Music では早期に再生数100万回を突破するなど、国内の若年層を中心に大きな注目を集めた。以降、シーン実力派プロデューサー陣とのコラボレーションも実現。
2026年5月より活動拠点を東京へと移し、ジャンルを越境しながら独自の表現を追求している。
Zumi is an artist from Aichi, Japan, who began his career in late 2022. Rooted in Hip-Hop, his genre-blending sound draws from Funk, Soul, Rock, and City Pop. He performs across a range of settings, from full band arrangements to stripped-back acoustic sets.
His April 2025 single “Flower” reached No. 5 on Spotify’s Japan Viral Chart and No. 1 on Shazam’s Discovery Chart, while surpassing 1 million streams on Apple Music early on and gaining strong attention among younger listeners in Japan. Since then, he has collaborated with leading Hip-Hop and R&B producers.
In May 2026, he relocated to Tokyo, continuing to push beyond genre boundaries while pursuing his own unique expression.
